The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) sold $30 million to 14 domestic banks through the auction Feb. 24, the CBA said.
"CBA put up for sale $30 million, but the total demand of banks for foreign currency amounted to $66.76 million and it was met by 44.9 percent," the statement said.
CBA holds auctions three times a week - on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
