BAKU, Azerbaijan, October 20. It is planned to expand the "Akart" product line in the future, PASHA Bank's Board Deputy Chairman Bahruz Naghiyev said, Trend reports.
He spoke at a press conference dedicated to the results of the bank's activity for the first half of 2023.
"Akart" is a joint virtual card of PASHA Bank and Azercell.
The digital card is designed for both postpaid and prepaid subscribers (SimSim) in cooperation with PASHA Bank, Visa and AzInTelecom. PASHA Bank also acts as an issuer of digital cards.
Earlier in 2022, for the first time in the telecommunications market of Azerbaijan, Azercell Fintek products, combining both banking and mobile communication capabilities, started to provide subscribers with financial services.
Azercell's digital card, launched in the market under the "akart" trademark, allowed secure non-cash settlements, various types of payments and other transactions through the "Kabinetim" mobile application.
