An appeal submitted by a Member of the Milli Majlis, Ganira Pashayeva, to the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (CE) has been distributed among delegates of the winter session of PACE. The document was linked with the steps taken by the Armenian Authorities, which strike a blow to the peaceful negotiations over the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
She said that the document covers the so-called referendum Armenians wanted to organize in Nagorno-Karabakh. It also said that such actions will certainly have a negative effect on the resolution of the Nagorno-Karabakh issue peacefully. Today, the document on the so-called Referendum in Nagorno-Karabakh in English have been distributed among all delegates of PACE, said Mrs. Pashayeva.
She also said that meetings of the PACE Committees were being held within the PACE session, and representatives of the Azerbaijan delegation participated in all these discussions. They are also holding private meetings with separate figures and officials of the Council of Europe.
