Georgia, Tbilisi, 25 August/ Trend corr. N.Kirtskhalia / David Darchiashvili, chairman of the Georgian Parliamentary Committee on Euro integration, considers that recognition of independence in Abkhazia and South Ossetia is a challenge to other democratic countries.
"The appeal addressed to Russian President and accepted by the Council of Federation due to recognition of separatist regions in Georgia will not arouse any surprise, as Russia tries to do it for a long period," Darchiashvili said.
According to MP, the rest depends on the President of Russian Federation. "World does not want to face such problems. However, the more Moscow will irritate the world community, the more pressure it will go through," Darchiashvilis said.
Russian Federation Council has unanimously adopted an appeal addressed to President due to recognition of independence in Abkhazia and South Ossetia.
