Iranians Behave not in Friendly Way: Head Trainer of Azerbaijani Team

Azerbaijan, Baku, 28 August /corr. Trend T.Jafarov / The head trainer of National Football Team of Azerbaijan, Berti Fogts, said to press conference after game with the Iranian football team that he was dissatisfied with the organizational function of the Football Federation the Islamic Republic of Iran.

"We arrived in Iran to hold a friendly match. Everybody knows about the hospitality of this country. But despite this, the Iranians behaved not in a friendly way," said Fogts.
The friendly match between the teams of Iran and Azerbaijan took place on 27 August. The game was completed by the victory of the National Team of Iran with the score 1: 0.

According to Fogts, Azerbaijani sportsmen expected another reception in Iran. "In the airport, our team was forced to wait for one and a half hours. In addition, necessary conditions were not created in the hotel for our players. Azerbaijan and Iran are friendly and neighboring states, and it would be a good thing if Iranian side with large respect would relate for our players," added Fogts.
He added that he was satisfied with the game of the Iranian team.
