Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov has received the delegation headed by Chairman of the Czech Republic Senate's committee on European Union affairs Ludek Sefzig.
The two sides highly assessed the close ties between the parliaments of Azerbaijan and the Czech Republic and cooperation within the European Union. They also noted the importance of the Eastern Partnership Program, the press service of Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry reported Wednesday.
Sefzig praised the economic development of Azerbaijan. According to him, it needs to intensify friendship and economic ties between the Czech Republic and Azerbaijan, including relations in the energy sector.
Mammadyarov expressed confidence that the relations between the two countries will even further develop in all spheres. According to him, there are all necessary features for it.
