Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov will attend the conference on Afghanistan in Berlin on Dec. 5, the Foreign Ministry official representative Elman Abdullayev told Trend today.
He said that Mammadyarov plans to deliver speech within the conference.
Several bilateral meetings are planned to be held within the conference.
Minister will also attend the meeting of the OSCE Ministerial Council in Vilnius on December 6-7.
Foreign ministers of the GUAM countries plan to meet within the OSCE Ministerial Council. The issues of the GUAM countries' cooperation in such areas as tourism, security, interaction of the bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, transport will be discussed at this meeting, Abdullayev said.
Several bilateral meetings will be held between Azerbaijani foreign minister and foreign ministers of Georgia, Finland, Portugal, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Lithuania and Ireland within the OSCE Ministerial Council.
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister will meet with the co-chairmen of the OSCE Minsk Group on Nagorno-Karabakh conflict settlement within the ministerial council, Abdullayev said.
