Sardar Jalaloglu files complaint to Supreme Court about sentence of Court of Appeals

“Sardar Jalaloglu, the first chairman of the Azerbaijan Democratic Party, filed a complaint to the Supreme Court against the sentence of the Court of Appeal on Monday,” Trend reports.

Jalaloglu filed appeal against the decision of the Central Election Committee (CEC) on cancellation of the results of the elections at Binagadi 2nd constituency 9, but Latif Nabiyev, the judge of the Court of Appeals did not satisfy the suit.

It should be mentioned that Sardaroglu was single candidate to deputy from �Azadlig’ (Freedom) bloc at Binagadi 2nd constituency 9. The winner at this constituency became Israfil Aliyev, the candidate from New Azerbaijan Party. Nevertheless, Jalaloglu stated about his victory at the constituency and demanded cancellation of the decision of the CEC on liquidation of the results at the constituency.
