The Assistant to the President of Azerbaijan Republic on Military Affairs, Vahid Aliyev, briefed the media on January 23rd that Armenia is worried about the high development in the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan, Trend reports. Aliyev expressed his opinion towards the recent statement of the Defense Minister of Armenia, Serj Sarkisyan that Azerbaijan will lose if it begins military operations.
At present Armenia can't say anything else. Armenia sees that it has failed to keep pace with Azerbaijan in all areas. Alertness and moral psychological readiness of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces and the purchase of technical military equipment are a concern for Armenia. Moral psychological readiness of the Azerbaijani Armed Forces is at a high level and capable of releasing occupied Azerbaijani lands. Such groundless statements are made due to this, Aliyev said.
