Azerbaijan, Baku / Trend corr. S.Ilhamgizi / A new Task Group will work over the Conception of state support to develop media in Azerbaijan project. The project will be completed by the mid of January, Aflatun Amashov, the chairman of the Press Council, said to Trend agency on 7 January.
The Task Group was formed from members of the Council in order to develop the project. Amashov said that the new Task Group was planned to form in January 2008. The new composition will include representatives of Presidential Administration and independent experts.
The latest proposals the Task Group will submit during the meeting scheduled for 10 January. The document will be submitted to the Presidential Administration.
According to Amashov, the conception reflects principles, forms and spheres of state support of press, development of media, financing conditions. The document envisages allocation of grants to media, long-term and privileged credits and others.
