The Azerbaijani team on group exercises took the 8-th place in 5 ribbons exercises at the World Championship on rhythmic gymnastics in Baku.
The team composed of Valeriya Egay, Anna Bitiyeva, Dina Gorina, Alina Trepina and Anastasiya Prasolova forced their way to the final stage of the competition after successful performance, Trend reports. Despite slight errors during the performance, on the whole they made a good impression.
The program’s winners became the national team of Bulgaria, which interrupted the domination of Russian girls. The Italian gymnasts received silver medals, the third place took the Russian gymnasts.
In exercises with three hoops and two maces the Italians were the first, the second вЂ" the Russians, and the bronze medal took sportsmen from Belarus.
