Akon renders a song apology to Gwen Stefani

( news.sawf.org ) - Rapper Akon has rendered an apology in a song to singer Gwen Stefani, for his raunchy dance with an underage girl in a Caribbean club, when he visited Trinidad for a gig. 'The Smack That' star had created a furore after the incident, prompting the country's PM to call for a probe into the whole episode.

The sexual dance with 14-year-old Danah Alleyne made communications firm Verizon, drop Akon as a featured talent.

The firm also canceled the sponsorship for a show by Gwen Stefani who was touring with him. In the song that was leaked online, Akon apologies to the 'No Doubt' singer saying 'the blame to be put on me', Sorry for the hand she was dealt/For the embarrassment she felt'.

Talking about the Alleyne, the rapper said that the teenager's dad shouldn't have allowed her to visit a nightclub, which is a place meant for 21-and -over. He also asked how he would possibly know that the girl was underage.

"Daddy should have never let her out that young/How was I supposed to know she was underage in a 21-and-over club," TMZ quoted the song.
