BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 20. Russian MTS-Bank PJSC has launched a money transfer service to Azerbaijan using the Granat service of International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBAR), Trend reports with reference to MTS-bank.

Money transfers can be sent in Russian rubles and received in dollars and euros (with conversion).

It is necessary to install the mobile application of MTS-Bank, to make a transfer. Users who are not subscribers of the MTS mobile operator will need to go through an identification procedure indicating passport data, also with the insurance policy number or the identification number of an individual personal account.

Users can make a transfer from bank cards issued by any Russian bank, and no transfer fee is charged. Payments of money transfers are made in cash at 80 offices of IBA-Moscow Bank's (subsidiary bank of IBAR) partners in Azerbaijan.

The maximum transfer amount is $5,000, or the equivalent amount in euros. The monthly limit is $10,000 for transfers from accounts with MTS-Bank, and $5,000 dollars - from cards of third-party banks.

Customers will be able to send transfers to any banks in Azerbaijan using a mobile phone number or a bank card in the second quarter of 2022, MTS-bank said.
