Azerbaijan, Baku, 13 February / Trend corr U. Ismayilova / In January 2008, the price of construction materials in Baku did not dramatically change from December 2007. The prices increased 0.3%, the public organization Real Estate Market Participants reported on 13 February.
The public organization monitored 86 sub-categories from 41 categories of construction materials. The price of 41 categories increased and four decreased.
The increase was mainly caused by the rise in price of energy at the beginning of the year, a rise in the price for imported construction materials, along with inflation and an increase in demand for private houses.
