Central Bank of Turkmenistan is expanding services of electronic payment

Turkmenistan, Ashgabat, on February 12 / Trend E. Gasanov / owners of a single plastic card payment system "Altyn Asyr", acting at the processing center the Central Bank of Turkmenistan (TSBT) will have access to a wide range of services, said TSBT.

In the near future with the help of new ATMs, it will be possible to carry out non-cash payment for services, payments on accounts for electricity and utilities. This list includes the execution of lending, deposit operations, electronic transfers of funds between the holders of plastic cards of other payment systems.

These measures will expand the network of non-cash transactions in the whole territory of Turkmenistan, which will facilitate the implementation of the calculations, as well as accelerate the process of integration of national economies into the global system of cashless payments.

In order to equip bank of advanced technologies, a technical update of the processing center has been made. This is a structural unit of the Central Bank carries out informational and technological interaction between participants and manages payment processing transactions with internal plastic cards.

TSBT's report states that the main task of the center - to create a stable and secure system of cashless payments using plastic cards throughout the country. To this end, and was developed by a single payment system of Turkmenistan "Altyn Asyr".
