On Nov. 10, the leadership of the International Insurance Company (IIC) met with representatives of the international rating company Standard & Poor, one of the three leading rating companies.
According to the IIC, the meeting was informational in nature and discussed both general issues relating to the country's insurance market and more specific - on the financial indicators of the IIC, its place and position on the market. The meeting focused on direct methodology of rating assignment.
The IIC's willingness to receive a rating from one of the leading international rating agencies can be seen as further proof of stability in the financial sector of the economy according to international experts and analysts, as well as a further indicator of the stability of the IIC positions.
In early November, the IIC was assigned Insurance Financial Strength Rating (IFSR) by Moody's Investors Service at the level of "B2" with "Stable" outlook. At present the rating on their own level is the highest among all insurance companies of Azerbaijan.
