The Asian Development Bank (ADB) appointed C. C. Yu to the post of a new permanent representative of the organization to Tajikistan, Avesta.Tj reported.
The new head of the mission will be engaged in providing Tajikistan with the bank's assistance in the country's development.
Energy and transport infrastructure and the support of reforms in the country will be the priority directions of the cooperation.
The ADB provided Tajikistan with over $966 million assistance since 1998 in the form of preferential loans, grants and technical assistance.
