The industrial production index (IPI) in Turkey increased by 11.3 percent in November 2012 and hit 141 points compared to the same month in 2011, the Turkish Statistics Institute said in a report posted on its website on Wednesday.
In November, the IPI increased by 7.8 percent compared to the previous month.
The highest rate of the index was observed in manufacturing industry. In November it increased by 14.3 percent compared to the same period of 2011 and hit 138.2 points.
The IPI in mining operations in Turkey increased by 7.5 per cent in November, in production and distribution - increased by 2 percent and hit 137.8 points.
