The Azerbaijani and Polish Transport Ministries will sign an agreement on cooperation in the field of transport infrastructure.
The document will be signed during Polish Transport Minister Sławomir Nowak's visit to Azerbaijan scheduled for the first half of November, the Polish Embassy in Azerbaijan told Trend.
According to the embassy, the minister will be accompanied by a delegation comprising representatives of Polish transport companies.
Azerbaijan is rapidly developing. This development can be seen in all sectors of the economy. One of important components of the country's economic development is to improve the transport system, active participation in the development of transport corridors (Europe -Caucasus -Asia and North -South) and the development of the transit potential of the country.
Azerbaijan is actively working to develop road transport infrastructure, sea, air and rail transport.
