By Anvar Mammadov – Trend:
Azerbaijan’s Compulsory Insurance Bureau (ISB) will sign a contract on buying a stake in Audatex Azerbaijan company in the near future, the company told Trend.
“Negotiations are at a decisive stage, and in the near future it is expected to sign an agreement to buy a stake by the ISB,” said the company.
Azerbaijan’s Compulsory Insurance Bureau started negotiations on buying a 5-percent stake in Audatex Azerbaijan’s authorized capital in 2015, but the parties couldn’t reach an agreement then.
Audatex Azerbaijan was created on the basis of an ISB’s agreement with Sidexa company, which represents Audatex’s interests in France. The document was signed in late 2014; however, the company was registered in March 2015 in Azerbaijan. Audatex is a part of Solera Inc. (US).
Audatex Azerbaijan was created for the use of a unified approach and a system of damage assessment in the field of compulsory insurance of civil liability of vehicle owners in Azerbaijan.
The ISB has 16 member companies.
