Faik Acikalin will leave the post of CEO of Turkey’s Yapi Kredi Bank Dec. 29 because he reached retirement age, the country’s media reported.
Acikalin is also chairman of the Supervisory Board of Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC, the Azerbaijani subsidiary of the bank, and it means that he will leave this post as well.
It is expected that Gokhan Erun will be appointed CEO of Turkey’s Yapi Kredi Bank. This issue will be considered at a general meeting of the bank’s Board of Directors on Jan. 15, 2018.
Yapi Kredi Bank Azerbaijan CJSC has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1998.
