Fifteen investment projects with a total investment of 55.8 billion tenge are being implemented in Aktobe region of Kazakhstan, governor of the region Berdibek Saparbayev said, according to the press service of the region’s administration.
In particular, a project for the construction of a gas processing complex of Gas Processing Company LLP worth 33 billion tenge is being implemented at the Kozhasai oil and gas field. The launch of the facility will increase the processing of associated gas and will allow mastering the production of such products as commercial gas, gas condensate, gas sulfur and propane/butane mixture.
Also, the construction of a gold ore plant, factories for the production of ceramic tiles and building materials, an A-class logistics center, as well as the development of Vesenne-Aralchinskoye deposit, etc. are being implemented in Aktobe region.
Saparbayev added that Aktobe continues active work on modernization. As part of the Roadmap, 55 enterprises have been modernized in the region this year. In total, 85 billion tenge was invested in technological improvement of equipment and processes.
In general, by the end of the year the region expects to attract 510 billion tenge of investments, of which 85 percent would be extra-budgetary funds and 35 percent – external investments.
