Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan biscuit factory to expand range of confectionery products

The Lezzet Qida biscuit factory located in Azerbaijan’s Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic is working on expanding its range of confectionery products, the company told Trend.

According to the source, this includes the production of new types of lokums (Turkish delights).

"The company is developing a new line for the production of lokums based on Turkish technology. The products are designed for domestic sales. It is planned to launch a new line this fall," the company said.

It was noted that the opening of new production lines will increase the capacity of the enterprise.

“it is planned to expand the production volume by the end of this year through the expansion of the range of confectionery products. In addition, it is expected that new production lines of pistachios and almonds in packages of various weights will be developed,” the company said.

The products have a certificate of conformity issued by the Azerbaijani State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patents. The factory has installed modern equipment of Turkish production.
