Italian company to introduce innovations in Uzbekistan

A meeting with the delegation of the Italian Sisas company engaged in traffic signage and innovation was held at the administration of Uzbekistan capital of Tashkent, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Governor of Tashkent Elbek Shukurov, Head of the Department of Tourism Development of Tashkent Sanjar Tajiev, Head of the Transport Department of Tashkent Anwar Juraev, representatives of Sisas, President of the Italian-Uzbek Chamber of Commerce Luigi Iperti and other officials.

The parties discussed installation of road signs meeting international standards to regulate traffic in the Uzbekistani capital. Tashkent administration officials expressed gratitude for this proposal. The issue of test implementation of these road signs in certain areas of the capital was also discussed at the meeting.

In mid-1990s, Sisas acquired 83 percent majority share of Bulgarian company SI.ZE, becoming the majority shareholder of the company. The company has grown continuously in Bulgaria and in early 2000, SISAS BG appeared alongside Sisas as the majority shareholder of 85 percent.

From its three factories in Italy and Bulgaria, Sisas SpA offers today a wide range of products in traffic, safety, maintenance and monitoring fields alongside innovative solutions in, and advanced technologies for, the traffic signage and road safety.
