An actual cost of Gross Agricultural Output in Azerbaijan amounted to 7.8 billion manat ($4.5 billion) in 2019, Trend reports referring to an annual report of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Agriculture.
According to the report, livestock production in Azerbaijan amounted to 4.09 billion manat ($2.4 billion) in 2019, and crop production - 3.75 billion manat ($2.2 billion).
In 2019, Azerbaijan’s agricultural production increased by 7.2 percent, including crop production - by 11.7 percent, livestock - by 3.5 percent compared to 2018. A share of crop production in the structure of agricultural products increased from 45.4 percent to 47.9 percent, and the share of livestock production decreased from 54.6 percent to 52.1 percent.
The increase of cost, added in agriculture, forestry and fish farming, amounted to 7.3 percent. Herein, the share of this sector in the country's Gross Domestic Product (GDP) increased from 5.3 percent to 5.7 percent.
