Uzbek Ambassador to the Benelux countries Dilier Khakimov held a meeting with the general manager of Bilancia company (Netherlands) Jan Vrins, Trend reports citing Uzbek media.
Bilancia is an educational platform for greenhouse management and is engaged in the development of projects in this area around the world.
During the meeting, the sides discussed the results of the recent visit of the delegation led Vrins to Uzbekistan as part of the World Bank-funded project to study and analyze potential opportunities in the field of creation and development of greenhouse farms in Uzbekistan.
During six weeks, many regions of Uzbekistan were visited by company's specialists, in order to form an opinion on the benefits and problematic aspects related to the development of greenhouse sector.
Following the visit, the Bilancia company is considering the possibility of creating a training center for Uzbek farmers and specialists in greenhouse business on the basis of the existing greenhouse farm in Kibray district of Tashkent region.
To implement this project, it is planned to use the most modern technologies, including distance learning and direct field training methods.
During the meeting, the sides also agreed to continue cooperation for implementation of educational project in Uzbekistan.
