Azerbaijan’s SOBSAN factory in Baku, which is engaged in production of decorative wallpapers, has started production of wallpaper used in shipbuilding, Factory’s Marketing Department Director Namina Agasizadeh told Trend.
“The company plans to expand production of fireproof wallpaper, which has a wide range of applications, including in the construction of multi-story residential and public buildings. The factory produces various types of decorative wallpaper, mainly based on Italian technology, as well as water-based ones. In addition, the immediate plans of the enterprise include the development of new types of wallpaper, in particular velour wallpaper, in a wide range of color shades," Agasizade added.
“The company plans to establish export deliveries to a number of Commonwealth Independent States (CIS), as well as to Arab countries. Iraq is now considered as a potential market. We are going to start negotiations on the supplies in the near future,” the director noted.
Azerbaijani SOBSAN factory is one of the largest production enterprises in the South Caucasus.
The factory has been operating in the country for 20 years.
