One of the largest manufacturer of building materials in Azerbaijan, Masalli Brick Factory located in Masalli district, plans to increase production volumes of the main type of factory’s products in 2020 by expanding the range of brick products, a source at the enterprise told Trend.
According to the source, the enterprise plans to launch new production line for manufacturing facing brick used in construction.
“Presently, a daily volume of brick production at the enterprise is 500 tons. Starting from June, the factory plans to take a course towards increasing production volumes to 550-600 tons by the end of 2020. Previously, it was planned to achieve such indicators in the first half of this year, but in connection with the quarantine regime, the factory revised its production policy,” the source noted.
“Meanwhile, the company also provides for an increase in export potential, as well as expanding the geography of exports in the future. Currently, the enterprise’s products are exported to Georgia. Since the beginning of 2020, several deliveries were made to this market in the amount of over 1,500 tons,” the source said.
The factory operates at full capacity without downtime. The production volumes are mainly based on orders within the country and from abroad.
The Masalli Brick Factory has been operating in Azerbaijan since 1983.
