BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 13. In general, 718,000 tons of non-oil products worth $337 million were exported from Iran’s Kurdistan Province, during the first five months of the current Iranian year (March 21 through August 22, 2022), Deputy Chairman of Industry, Mine and Trade Organization of Kurdistan Province Taha Samee said, Trend reports citing the organization.

It was expected to export non-oil products worth $245 million from the province in 5 months, the deputy noted.

Samee added that 426,000 tons of non-oil products worth $161 million were exported through the province's own customs, while 292,000 tons worth $175 million - through Iran’s other customs.

“In addition, 10,000 tons of goods worth $14 million dollars were imported to the Kurdistan Province within 5 months,” he said.

According to the official, 1,060 tons of goods were transited through the province during the mentioned period.
