Georgia, Tbilisi, 3 September/ Trend , corr N. Kirtskhalia/ Oil is transported through Georgia's territory in normal regime, Minister of Energy of Georgia Aleksandr Khetaguri said to media.
Minister said the tankers continued to be loaded with oil in Batumi and Kulevi ports even during military operations. The oil transport is fully resumed after passenger conveyance was restored.
The only exception is the Baku-Supsa oil pipeline. Following reconstruction the pipeline operated only in July. First tanker was loaded with oil on 8 August after which the pipeline was suspended. The pumping of oil will be resumed after its security is fully provided.
