In January-August 2011, gas transit through Kazakhstan amounted to 52.407 billion cubic meters compared to 52.618 billion cubic meters during the same period of 2010.
In August 2011 gas transit through the country was carried out to the amount of 5.862 billion cubic meters compared to 7.307 billion in July and 4.721 billion cubic meters in August 2010.
Some 9.972 billion cubic meters of the total volume of gas transit through Kazakhstan in January-August 2011 accounted for Central Asian gas compared to14.692 billion cubic meters during the same period of 2010.
In August, the Central Asian gas was transported through the country to the amount of 978 billion cubic meters compared to 2.057 billion in 2010.
