The volume of natural gas production in Azerbaijan will exceed 30 billion cubic meters in 2015, Azerbaijani Ministry of Industry and Energy told Trend on Wednesday.
The Ministry said that, according to the prognosis, gas production will amount to 27.54 billion cubic meters in 2013, 29.39 billion cubic meters in 2014, 30.19 billion cubic meters in 2015.
According to he ministry's prognosis, State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) will produce around 6.74 billion cubic meters of natural gas in 2013, 8.09 billion cubic meters in 2014, 8.19 billion cubic meters in 2015.
The proven gas reserves of Azerbaijan for today are 2.6 trillion cubic meters.
