Oil production in Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli conducted in 72 wells in Jan.-Sept.

Some 72 production and 33 injection wells were put into operation in Azerbaijani offshore fields' block Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli in nine months of 2013, the official BP report for nine months of 2013 said.

In total, during the reported period 24.5 million tons of oil (181 million barrels) was produced in Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli.

According to BP (the operator of Azer-Chirag-Guneshli development project) report, 18 wells (13 production and 5 for water injection) were put into operation in Chirag field and the average daily production in the filed amounted to 70,800 barrels.

23 wells (16 production, 6 gas injection and 1 water injection wells) operated in Central Azeri field in Jan.-Sept. The average daily production in this field amounted to 191,700 barrels.

23 wells (17 production and 6 gas injection wells) were put into operation in Western Azeri field. The average daily production during the reported period amounted to about 191,700 barrels.

15 wells (12 production and 3 water injection wells) were put into operation in Eastern Azeri field. The average daily production in Jan.-Sept. 2013 amounted to 113,000 barrels.

26 wells (14 production and 12 water injection wells) were put into operation in deep-water Guneshli field. The average daily production amounted to 137,000 barrels.

Share participation in the project is as following: BP (operator in Azeri-Chirag-Guneshli) - 35.78 percent, Chevron - 11.27 percent, Inpex - 10.96 percent, AzACG - 11.65 percent, Statoil - 8.56 percent, Exxon - 8 percent, ТРАО - 6.75 percent, Itocu - 4.3 percent and ONGC - 2.72 percent.
