The fiscal breakeven oil price for Azerbaijan will stand at $50.6 per barrel in 2019, Trend reports citing the Regional Economic Outlook: Middle East and Central Asia Update of the International Monetary Fund (IMF).
This figure stood at $61.1 in 2018 and for 2020, it is expected to drop to $48.2 per barrel.
Fiscal breakeven oil price is the oil price at which the fiscal balance is zero.
IMF expects that the external breakeven oil price for Azerbaijan will be equal to $55.7 per barrel in 2019 and $60.3 per barrel in 2020, as compared to $67 in 2018.
External breakeven oil price is the oil price at which the current account balance is zero.
