The nominal incomes of the Azerbaijani population in the first 4 months of 2021 decreased by 1.1 percent compared to the same period of 2020, amounting to slightly over 17 billion manat ($1 billion), Trend reports referring to the State Statistical Committee’s report.
The nominal income per capita in the reporting period lowered by 1.6 percent over the year to 1,703 manat ($1,000).
From January through April 2021, Azerbaijan's nominal GDP made up 25.08 billion manat ($14.75 billion), which is by 0.2 percent less than in 4M2020.
Meanwhile, the country’s GDP in the non-oil sector reached 15.83 billion manat ($9.31 billion), increasing by 4.1 percent compared to the same period of last year.
Azerbaijan’s GDP per capita amounted to 2,506 manat ($1,470), decreasing by 0.7 percent on annual basis.
The incomes of the population after payment of all compulsory and voluntary fees amounted to 15.26 billion manat ($8.98 billion), which is 1.7 percent less than in 4M2020.
