Over 1.82 billion manat ($1.07 billion) was allocated from the state budget for the judiciary, law enforcement agencies and the prosecutor's office in Azerbaijan in 2020, Trend reports with reference to the Ministry of Finance of Azerbaijan.
Of these funds, more than 96.3 million manat ($56.6 million) were allocated to the judiciary, over 1.43 billion manat ($841 million) - to law enforcement agencies and more than 78.6 million manat ($46.2 million) - to the prosecutor's office.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the total expenditures of the state budget of Azerbaijan for 2020 exceeded 29.1 billion manat ($17.1 billion), which is 2.65 billion manat or$1.55 billion (10 percent) more compared to 2019.
