Kazakh KEGOC shares rise since beginning 2022

BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 15. Kazakhstan Electricity Grid Operating Company (KEGOC) paid 41.5 billion tenge ($92.6 million) worth of dividends to shareholders in 2021, Trend reports with reference to publication on Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) website.

“Dividends were paid to shareholders in the total amount of 41.5 billion tenge ($92.6 million) in the reporting year, of which 19.5 billion tenge ($43.5 million) at the end of 2020 and 22 billion tenge ($49.1 million) at the end of the first half of 2021,” publication says.

According to KEGOC, the company's shares demonstrate a trend of high liquidity and stable growth. The market price of one share has increased by 169.5 tenge ($0.38) - from 1,699.5 tenge ($3.82) to 1,869 tenge ($4.2) since the beginning of 2022.

The maximum value of the share price was 1,920 tenge ($4.3), which exceeds the historical maximum of 2020 by 170 tenge ($0.38).

KEGOC went public Initial public offering (IPO) in 2014. The number of placed ordinary shares of KEGOC JSC on Kazakh organized securities market is 25,999,999.
