In January Azerbaijan's state investment in communication and information technology (IT) field made up almost 1.2 million manats, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Communication and IT said on Feb. 9.
In this period, the ministry's key enterprises, including Aztelekom Production Unity (PU) invested 601,200 manats, Baku telephone communication PU - 460,000 manats, Azerpocht State Company (SC) - 65,600 manats, Teleradio PU - 7,300 manats and Data Computing Centre - 33,500 manats.
The IT Ministry invested 41 million manats in communication field in 2008.
