Azerbaijan’s State Fund for Development of Information Technologies will determine a specific mechanism for operation of a startup accelerator at the ADA University, a source in the country’s IT market told Trend.
The meeting of the leadership of the State Fund and the university was held in December last year, after which the IT companies involved in the project were notified that a meeting with the participation of all parties will be held after the New Year holidays.
“At the meeting, it is planned to choose the best option of supporting innovative ideas for their further commercialization,” the source said.
The idea of interaction between the State Fund and IT companies in the creation of the startup accelerator at the ADA University received support of private business.
