Following the meeting of the Council of the Heads of Government of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), 15 documents were signed, chairman of the Executive Committee, Executive Secretary of the CIS Sergey Lebedev said, Kazinform news agency reported.
“The agenda included topical issues, primarily in the sphere of the economy of our states,” he said. “These issues included ensuring safety of nuclear facilities, peaceful use of outer space. Besides, documents were signed governing a number of financial issues of the activity of the CIS, in humanitarian sphere.”
He also hailed the chairmanship of Tajikistan in the Council.
“All the documents were carefully prepared under the country’s chairmanship,” Lebedev added.
