A number of industrial plants of State Ministry of Industry are going to be upgraded in Turkmenistan. The contract will be signed with 'Turkmen Enjam' local agricultural society, an official Turkmen source reported on Saturday.
The plants of panel construction in Ashgabat and in suburbs as well as 'Demirbetononumleri' plant in the centre of Lebap region Turkmenabat are going to be reconstructed within the project.
Reconstruction work is planned to be launched in October of 2012. The plans are going to be commissioned in October of 2015.
The project will be conducted in the framework Turkmen president's program on social and economic development of the country in 2012-2016.
According to the totals of 8 months, the plan on construction work for Ministry of Industry was implemented by 108.4 percent, cement production- by 126.9 percent, aggregate production- by 105.6 percent, wall materials- by 109.2 percent.
Turkish Polimeks Inshaat Taahhut ve San. Tic. A.S is completing construction of cement plant with capacity of 1.4 million tons in Garlik village of Lebap region.
Polimeks has commissioned a similar plant in the western part of Turkmenistan- city of Jebel in Balkan region in October of 2011. It's cost was estimated as 180 million euro.
Construction of social and economic object, highways, infrastructure of objects' life support is being expanded in Turkmenistan.
A metallurgical combine, a factory on marble production and some other objects have been constructed in recent years.
