The Turkmen Ministry of Economy and Development announces an auction for sale of state property.
The auctions will be held at 11:00, March 9, 2013 at the Ministry of Economy and Development at Ashgabat, 2011 str. (Azadi), 53.
The following is a list of facilities of the Turkmen Central Bank, Food Industry Association and stock corporations that sell state-owned shares and facilities, construction of which has not been completed and is put up for auction.
Property of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan
1. Wesýet shopping centre, Ashgabat, st. 1927 (Ataturk), 69 - a three-storey detached building, 2012, starting price - 6,990,969 manat (2.85 manat=$1).
Property of Turkmen Food Industry Association
2. Urban tomato-canning factory, city of Tejen.
Production of canned fruits and vegetables. The property is put up for sale under the condition of preservation of production structure at a starting price of 1.576.348 manat.
3. Meat-packing plant at the village of Takhtabazar.
Meat production. The property is put up for sale under the condition of preservation of production structure and the starting price is 1.204.763 manat.
4. Agricultural company Pendi-mive, Takhtabazar village
Production of canned fruits and vegetables. The property is put up for sale under the condition of preservation of production structure and the starting price is 1.159.121 manat.
5. Plant for the production of meat and bone meal, Sayat etrap (district)
Production of meat and bone meal. The property is put up for sale under the condition of preservation of production structure and the starting price is 784,654 manat.
6. Canned fruit factory, Sakar village
Production of canned fruits and vegetables. The property is put up for sale under the condition of preservation of production structure and the starting price is 1.290.050 manat.
Joint stock companies selling the state share package
7. Electronics Joint Stock Company - Ashgabat, Parakhat-1 md., 1 (rental unit) and a building in the city of Turkmenbashi. TV radio equipment repair, sale of 75 shares (15.00 per cent) with a starting price of 6.188 manat.
8. Kopetdag-Lada Joint Stock Company, 1916 str. (B.Annanov) 104. Subsidiaries: 1. Akhal-Lada"in Ashgabat and Tejen 2. Geoktepe-Lada 3. Lebap-Lada in Turkmenabat, Atamurat and Serdarabat district 4. Dashoguz-Lada, Dashoguz 5. Mary-Lada, Mary, Murghab etrap, Takhtabazar etrap 6. Balkan-Lada in Balkanabat and Turkmenbashi, car maintenance, sale of 7857 shares (48.5 per cent) under condition to preserve the production profile and the starting price is 3,564,721 manat.
9. Avtomatika Joint Stock Company, Ashgabat (tenement), Turkmenbashi, Mary, Dashoguz and Turkmenabat.
Electrical installation work, the sale of 99 shares (15 per cent), the starting price is 125 511 manat.
Facilities of incomplete construction:
10. Shopping centre, a two-storey detached building, Gumdag city, Haji Ashir oglu str. The construction started in 1989 and was suspended in 1997. The starting price is 720 410 manat.
Citizens of Turkmenistan, foreign citizens, foreign and local private legal entities who applied according to the prescribed procedure, paid a deposit and a special fee and registered for the auction on time can take part.
Applications are accepted and participants are registered by the Ministry of Economy and Development starting from the date of publication of this announcement. The process ends 24 hours before the start of the auction.
Consultations on participation in the auction and provision of additional information about the facilities are conducted by the department of property relations and business support of the Ministry of Economy and Development and specialised departments of property relations and business support of key economic management and regional and city development departments.
All bidders are given an opportunity to preview the object of privatisation.
