BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 10. The Gyzylarbat livestock farm located in the Balkan region of Turkmenistan contains 23,650 sheep, Trend reports with reference to the Turkmen media.

According to the data received, this year it is planned to receive 14,230 lambs from this number of sheep on the farm.

Furthermore, the farm contains 2,300 camels, of which 496 young camels are planned to be received in 2023.

At the moment, Turkmenistan is doing a lot of work on the development of animal husbandry, increasing the number of livestock, manufacturing meat and dairy products, and strengthening the feed base of the industry. The improvement of local livestock enterprises continues.
