TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, May 1. Uzbekistan's composite consumer price index (CPI) amounted to 100.9 percent in April 2024, Trend reports.
Citing Uzbekistan's Statistics Agency data, this indicator has
dropped by 0.1 percent year on year (100.8 percent in April
2023).
At the same time, Uzbekistan's CPI rose to 102.6 percent between
January and April 2024. This result represents a 101.8 percent
increase over the same period last year (0.8 percent from January
to April 2023).
In April 2024, the CPI for goods was 100.7 percent. This metric has
fallen by 0.2 percent year over year (100.9 percent in April
2023).
Short-term CPI for services amounted to 101.8 percent in April 2024. This shows 1.3 percent growth year-on-year (100.5 percent in April 2023).
Meanwhile, Uzbekistan's CPI amounted to 100.7 percent in March 2024.
This indicator reached 101.7 percent for the first quarter of 2024.
In March 2024, the CPI for goods was 100.7 percent, as was the short-term CPI for services.
