BAKU, Azerbaijan, April 12. The capacity of customs posts Farap (Turkmenistan) and Alat (Uzbekistan) will be increased to 1,000 vehicles per day, Trend reports with reference to the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.
According to the information, this possibility was discussed during a meeting of representatives of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan, the State Customs Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan under the Ministry of Economy and Finance, as well as the head of the customs post "Alat", which took place in the format of a videoconference.
Furthermore, during the meeting, the parties discussed issues of long-term cooperation and reconstruction and modernization of customs posts.
Meanwhile, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan since March 1, 2023, has introduced new tariffs for filling out a transit declaration in the ASYCUDA World customs information system.
