The LUKOIL Uzbekistan Operating Company, operator of Russian LUKOIL’s projects in Uzbekistan, plans to employ about 100 graduates of the country’s educational institutions in the next four years, Anatoliy Moskalenko, vice president for human resources management and corporate structure development of LUKOIL PJSC, said.
He was speaking at the international conference titled “Training and development of national personnel in international companies” in Tashkent.
Since 2010, about 400 young specialists from the number of graduates of Uzbek universities have been employed by the LUKOIL Uzbekistan Operating Company, he added.
Traditionally, about 35 percent of the personnel in the organizations of the LUKOIL Group are young workers.
Moskalenko added that in order to employ personnel in Uzbekistan, LUKOIL Uzbekistan Operating Company cooperates with all specialized educational institutions of the republic.
The Tashkent branch of the Gubkin Russian State University of Oil and Gas, Tashkent State Technical University named after Islam Karimov, Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology, the Tashkent branch of Turin Polytechnic University, engineering and economic institutes of Qarshi and Bukhara cities, Navoiy State Mining Institute, Ferghana Polytechnical Institute are among them, he noted.
The company also invests in the development of human resources through training of employees in training centers of Uzbekistan and Russia, internship at facilities of Uzbekneftegaz JSC and LUKOIL PJSC, he said.
