BAKU, Azerbaijan, December 17. The value of the gold reserves of Uzbekistan increased in 11 months of 2022, reaching $22.5 billion, Trend reports citing the Uzbek Central Bank.
From January through November 2022, the volume of gold reserves of Uzbekistan amounted to 12.8 million troy ounces.
The value of the official reserve assets of Uzbekistan reached $33.4 billion in the corresponding period, which is a decrease compared to the same period of 2021 ($34.7 billion).
During this period, the value of other assets in foreign currency amounted to $38.1 million, which is a decrease of 2.2 times compared to the same period in 2021 ($85.1 million).
