Iran’s gas condensate export decreased by 19.75 percent to 5.943 million tons during the first four months (March 20-July 20) of the current Iranian fiscal year.
Iran’s revenues from condensate exports also decreased by 8.77 percent to $2.912 billion as compared to the same period of preceding year, according to the Custom Administration’s monthly report.
Gas condensate shared 17.86 percent of the country's total non-oil exports in terms of value, which increased by 21.11 percent to $16.3 billion in the four-month period.
Iran puts gas condensate, which is an ultra-light crude oil, in non-oil exports basket.
The country also exported 13.684 million tons of petrochemicals worth $6.769 billion.
Iran’s petrochemicals exports indicate an increase of 64.83 percent in terms of volume and 41.51 percent in terms of value, year-on-year.
Petrochemical products shared 41.51 percent of Iran's total non-oil exports in terms of value during the first four months of current fiscal year.
