The Islamic Republic of Iran exported over 8.832 million tons of LPG, valued at $1.952 billion, during the first nine months of the current fiscal year (March 20- Dec. 21, 2016), according to the latest statistics released by the Trade Promotion Organization of Iran.
The country’s LPG export in the nine-month period increased by 52 percent year-on-year, according to the statistics.
This is while the export of LPG in terms of value decreased by 9 percent.
According to the report Iran exported no LPG in the ninth calendar month (Nov. 21-Dec. 21).
LPG shared 6.2 percent of the Islamic Republic’s total exports in terms of value in the nine-month period.
Iran’s total non-oil exports (including the gas condensate) stood at $31.593 billion in the first nine months of the current fiscal year, which indicates a 9-percent increase.
