Iranian West Azerbaijan Province's gas company has announced the supply of gas to more than 1,300 industrial units in the last eight years, Trend reports citing IRNA.
To develop the province, West Azerbaijan Gas Company placed natural gas pipes, passed through rivers and forests to various houses and industries of the province.
The CEO of the West Azerbaijan Gas Company Alireza Sheikhi said that 400 km of natural gas network has been implemented in the province since the beginning of the current Iranian year (started on March 21).
Stating that on average more than a thousand kilometers of gas network has been laid in the province in recent years, Sheikhi said.
"With the supply of gas to 12 industrial towns since the beginning of 1992, the number of industrial towns benefiting from the blessings of gas in the province has reached 22," said the official.
